The characteristics of the IBC Steel Parts Stamping Line.
The company has IBC Steel Parts Stamping Line products.
This is the foundation of stamping quality. High-quality cold-rolled steel or stainless steel coils (selected based on IBC bearing and corrosion resistance needs) are first inspected by verifying the material certificate to confirm mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elongation. The coils are then loaded into a decoiler, which unwinds them smoothly and steadily. A straightener follows to remove rolling stress and ensure flatness (≤0.5mm/m for cold-rolled steel), preventing warpage during stamping. Finally, surface pretreatment (degreasing and derusting) is conducted to eliminate oil stains and rust, which could cause slipping or mold damage.
The pretreated steel sheet is fed into a blanking press via a servo feeder (feeding accuracy ≤0.05mm). Guided by precision molds, the press cuts the sheet into flat blanks of specified sizes matching IBC parts (e.g., frames, panels). This step uses a shear force-controlled process to ensure clean cuts without burrs, and the blank size tolerance is strictly controlled within ±0.1mm to lay the groundwork for subsequent forming.
This is the core shaping step, completed by a multi-station progressive die press. The blanks are transferred sequentially between stations, where each station performs a specific operation: punching (drilling precise holes for assembly), bending (forming angles and edges for IBC frames), drawing (stretching steel into desired curved shapes), and coining (enhancing surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy). Process parameters such as press speed, blank holder force and closing height are pre-set to avoid manual errors, ensuring uniform shaping of each part.
After forming, excess material (flash) on the parts is trimmed off by a trimming press to achieve the final contour of IBC components. Then, a deburring machine (vibration grinding for precision) removes tiny burrs from cut edges and holes, preventing scratches during assembly and improving product safety and aesthetics. Over-trimming is avoided to ensure dimensional accuracy is not compromised.
Each finished part undergoes strict inspection. Visual checks identify surface defects (scratches, cracks), while dimensional inspections use coordinate measuring machines to verify key dimensions (hole position tolerance ±0.05mm) and roughness testers to ensure surface smoothness (Ra≤1.6μm). Defective parts are removed immediately to ensure only qualified products enter the next process.
Qualified IBC steel parts are automatically collected by a conveyor system and sorted by type. They are then packaged with protective materials to prevent corrosion and damage during storage and transportation, ready for subsequent IBC assembly. The entire line operates continuously with minimal manual intervention, significantly improving production efficiency while guaranteeing the reliability of IBC steel components.
